Workshop Highlights:
Understand Your Personality: Spend an hour with a Disc Jockey who will assess your musical preferences, childhood inspirations, that drive your passion and favorite events, which motivated You to become a member of the music industry. Receive tailored advice on the history of rave culture, maintaining the balance between career growth and mental stability and building your own brand on Social Media.
Distinguish music genres: Learn essential differences between multiple branches of electronic music such as techno, house, breakbeat and electro, find the music for your playlist on such platforms as SoundCloud, Spotify and Bandcamp, and follow the streaming services such as Hoer Berlin to widen personal track collection.
DJ equipment and Software: Our DJ will introduce You to the various drum machines and digital mixers such as Allen & Heath or Technics SL, multiple software such as Rekordbox or Serato DJ to link the equipment with your laptop or PC and how to set it all up before your set.
Practical Studio Session: embark on the fun part of the workshop in one of Prague’s most renowned studios – Squat Music and learn the A-to-Z process of beatmatching, mixing tricks, sound design and music production. After this, You will be able to record Your first set under the supervision of our DJ!
